# Create your account

The members area needs an account and a paid plan. Getting in takes four steps: register, verify your email, choose a plan, and pay. This page walks through each step.

## Step 1: Register

On the register page you fill in four fields:

- **Full name.** Your name as you want it shown in the app.
- **Email.** You will verify this address in the next step.
- **Username.** At least 3 characters. The page checks right away whether the name is free. You can sign in later with either your username or your email.
- **Password.** At least 8 characters. A strength meter shows whether your password is weak, fair, or strong. Use a password you do not use on other sites.

## Step 2: Verify your email

After you register, P2P Price sends a **6-digit code** to your email address. Enter the code on the verification screen to continue.

A few things to know about the code:

- If you type the wrong code, the screen tells you how many tries you have left before you need a new code.
- Codes expire after a short time. The email itself tells you exactly how long the code lasts.
- If your code expired, use the resend link to get a new one. The link shows a short countdown before you can use it.
- If you ask for many codes in a short time, the page asks you to wait a little before trying again.

You cannot open the members area until your email is verified. If you leave and log in again later, the app brings you back to this screen first.

## Step 3: Choose a plan

After your email is verified, you land on the plan page. Pick the plan that fits you: Basic or Pro. For Enterprise, use the contact page to talk to the team.

## Step 4: Pay by card

Payment happens in a secure card checkout run by Paddle, our payment provider. Your access opens as soon as the payment is confirmed, and you land on the Dashboard.

## Signing in later

Use the sign-in page with your **username or email** plus your password. If you are already signed in, the app takes you straight to the members area.

## Forgot your password?

Use the "Forgot your password?" link on the sign-in page. Enter your email and P2P Price sends you a reset link. The link expires in 1 hour, so use it soon after it arrives.
